Turn everyone’s favorite brunch drink into a guava glazed doughnuts! Soft, fluffy, baked guava glazed donuts topped with a champagne and guava marmalade glaze!
Yes, I’m aware I have a guava addiction! I know I have too many guava recipes.
But, can you blame me though?
Look at these donuts! Are these not the most decadent looking things you’ve ever seen?!
Sigh. I’m in love.
Breakfast IS the most important meal of the day AND mimosas are the best drink to have at breakfast sooooo why not make a soft, fluffy, guava-licious, champagne-kissed glazed donut!
How To Make Glazed Doughnuts
- Make the glazed donuts. In a bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt. Set aside. In another bowl, mix egg, brown sugar, milk, butter, vanilla, and guava marmalade until well combined. Add to the dry ingredients and mix. The batter will be very thick.
Scoop the batter into a ziplock plastic bag or piping bag, cut a hole in one corner, and pipe the batter into this donut pan, filling about 3/4 full. - Bake the glazed donuts. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool for 5 minutes before flipping the pans upside down over a rack to remove the donuts.
Donut Pan
These pans are the perfect way to make homemade donuts! They are non-stick and dishwasher safe!
How To Make Guava Mimosa Glaze
In a bowl, whisk powdered sugar, champagne, and guava marmalade together until completely smooth. Dip each cooled donut into the glaze and let the icing set until slightly hardened.
You get the tart from the guava, the sweetness from the champagne glaze. It really is just the best combo ever.
What are you waiting for!?
I hope you make them and LOVE them!

Can you fry these ?
Anne says
Hi! I followed the recipe exactly and ended up with 11 doughnuts instead of 12. Could my pan size be the problem maybe? What size of doughnut pan did you use? Mine is a Wilton. Thanks in advance xxx
Jamie Silva says
Hi Anne! I use two 6-cavity Wilton donut pans, filling each cavity up only 3/4 full, never entirely full. Not sure what may have happened to only get 11. So strange!
Anne says
Thanks for your reply. I followed your suggestion and got 12 doughnuts. Thanks again xxx

Holy moses, but that glaze!! That first picture just makes me want to dive head first into a pile of donuts. Baked donuts have been a recent discovery for me and I can’t get enough of them!! Plus the addition of guava will give me a throwback to when I was in warm Hawaii . . .
