In a saucepan, add water, sugar, lemon juice, chopped pears, cinnamon stick, ginger, cardamom, and nutmeg. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes until the sugar dissolves and the pears are tender.

Remove from heat and allow to cool. Strain and discard the pears and cinnamon stick. Transfer syrup to a mason jar.

In a pitcher, add chopped apples and orange slices. Pour red wine, triple sec, spiced pear simple syrup. Stir to combine.
