This Cuban version of the popular street food is made with a citrusy-garlic marinade and homemade Cuban sazon completa spice blend making it the perfect meal for just about any day of the week!
Cut the chicken thighs into 1-inch pieces. Toss and massage the chicken pieces really well with the marinade. Place the resealable bag in the fridge to marinate for at least 2 hours (or up to overnight).
Thread the chicken into the skewers. Place the skewers on a grill preheated to medium-high heat. Grill for 3 minutes, flip them and brush with bbq sauce.
Grill for another 2 minutes, flip again, and brush them again with bbq sauce. Reduce heat to medium and grill for another 5 minutes per side until cooked through.
