Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Make the brown butter

Melt unsalted butter in a pan over medium heat for about 5 minutes, until the butter foams and little brown specks appear.

Mix the wet & dry ingredients

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars. Mix egg and vanilla extract then add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined. Fold in chopped chocolate.

Scoop out the cookie dough

Using a cookie scoop, form dough into balls. Place on a baking sheet and refrigerate the dough balls for, at least, 20 minutes (the longer, the better).

Bake, serve & enjoy!

Bake for 10-11 minutes until the edges are golden brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle with sea salt. Cool for 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
